Why 1200+ Shops Trust Soda Center — Our Service Promise

Anyone can sell you a soda machine. What you are actually buying is the years that come after it.

A soda fountain machine is not a mobile phone. It runs eight to twelve hours a day, in heat, with gas pressure and sugar syrup running through it. Things will need attention. The only question that matters when you are choosing a manufacturer is a simple one — when something goes wrong, does anybody pick up the phone?

This page is not a list of promises. It is one customer's story, and what our machines are doing in three countries. You can verify all of it.

The customer who kept coming back

In 2018 we sold a soda fountain machine to Prince Gupta in Siddharthnagar, Uttar Pradesh — roughly 1,300 km from our factory in Himmatnagar, Gujarat.

The first stretch was not smooth. Several things went wrong, one after another. Not because the machine was bad, but because nobody in that shop had ever run a soda machine before — gas pressure settings, syrup ratios, nozzle cleaning, all of it was new.

We could have pointed at the warranty terms and started counting. We did not. Every single time he called, we solved it — an engineer travelled, or we walked his staff through it on a video call. We did not count the visits and we did not put a bill in front of him.

That machine is still running today.

And in the years since, Prince Gupta has bought 6 to 7 more machines from us.

That is the entire point of this page. We did not keep that customer with a discount or a clever advertisement. We kept him by not disappearing after the invoice was paid. One machine sold in 2018 became seven — and every shopkeeper he has told since.

When repair was not enough, we replaced the whole machine

In 2018, a customer in Kochi, Kerala bought a Soda Center machine through Jayaprakash, our dealer in Kerala.

That machine developed internal body leakage — water escaping inside the body of the unit itself. This is not a setting somebody got wrong, and it is not a part you swap out on a service visit. When the body of a machine leaks internally, no amount of repair makes it right again. It was a manufacturing defect, and it was ours.

We had two choices. Send engineer after engineer and keep patching it until the warranty year quietly ran out. Or accept that this particular machine was defective, and settle it properly.

We replaced the entire machine. A complete new unit, at our cost. Not a part, not a repair — the whole machine.

That customer speaks Malayalam and sits roughly 2,000 km from our factory in Gujarat. Neither of those things changed the answer. Our Kerala dealer raised it, we accepted it, and the customer got a machine that worked.

This is what a warranty is supposed to mean. It is easy to print "comprehensive warranty" on a brochure and then spend the year explaining why your particular problem is the one thing not covered. When a machine of ours is genuinely defective, we replace it — we do not argue with the customer about our own mistake.

Why we service past the point where it stops making money

On some machines we have spent more keeping them running than we made selling them. We accept that, and it is a deliberate decision, not an accident.

A dead machine sitting in a shop is not a cost we saved. It is a shopkeeper telling every other shopkeeper in his market what happened to him. In this business your reputation travels faster than any advertisement — and it travels further when it is bad.

So the rule inside Soda Center is simple: we do not leave a running shop stuck. If the machine can be fixed, we fix it.

Our machines are running in Dubai, Sri Lanka and Mauritius

Since 2018–19, Soda Center machines have been working in Dubai (UAE), Sri Lanka and Mauritius — one or two machines per customer. They are still running today.

Here is the part worth thinking about: we do not fly an engineer to Mauritius. Those customers are kept running on WhatsApp video calls and shipped spare parts — our technician on one screen, their staff on the other, working through it together.

If a machine can be supported that way across an ocean, with a time difference and a customs process in between, then your shop in Rajasthan or Bihar or Tamil Nadu is not a difficult problem for us. It is the easy version.

Frequently asked questions

What is covered in the 1 year warranty?

Everything — compressor, all parts, and labour. It is a comprehensive warranty, not a parts-only one. If something covered fails inside the year, you do not pay for the part or the engineer.

What happens after the warranty year is over?

We keep supporting you. Out-of-warranty parts are charged, but the help does not stop — and small faults are still solved free on a WhatsApp video call. Prince Gupta's first machine is from 2018 and is still running.

What if the machine has a fault that cannot be repaired?

Then we replace it. In 2018 a machine we supplied in Kochi, Kerala developed internal body leakage — a manufacturing defect that no service visit can honestly fix. Rather than patch it repeatedly, we gave that customer a complete replacement machine at our cost. It is not the common case, but it is the answer when repair is not the honest fix.

My shop is far from Gujarat. Will I actually get service?

Yes. We have 100+ engineers and dealers across India and machines running in 165+ cities. Siddharthnagar in UP is about 1,300 km from our factory and that customer has been supported since 2018. We also support machines in Dubai, Sri Lanka and Mauritius entirely over video call and shipped parts.

I have never run a soda machine before. Is that a problem?

No — that is the normal case, not the exception. At installation our technician or authorised dealer sets the machine up and trains your staff on gas pressure, syrup mixing and nozzle cleaning. After that, ask us anything on WhatsApp. Prince Gupta started with no experience at all and now runs several machines.

How much does a soda fountain machine cost?

From ₹1,30,000 + GST for a 6-flavour regular model up to ₹2,40,000 + GST for a 16-flavour van model, with larger 18–24 flavour models available. The complete and always-current list is on our price list page. For the full buying guide — power, water, model comparison and delivery — read our Hindi soda machine buying guide.
